Hello, my name is Ava Rupisan and my main passion in life is art. As of right now, I attend the University of Colorado Boulder and I am pursuing a business major and an art practices minor. The things that I enjoy the most are music, traveling, and creating art. Overall, I enjoy all mediums of art as it challenges me to be creative, but my main medium is photography. Throughout my life I have taken a very numerous amount of art classes including photography, drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, graphic design, etc. I like experiencing all of the different types of arts because it lets me be creative in different ways and I find it enjoyable to create pieces with mixed media. Although I have a wide range of experience in the arts, I have yet to partake in digital art so it is a new experience for me. My philosophy in art is to always be willing to take risks and experiment because I have learned that when I make art I tend to need everything to be perfect and I used to never be open to trying new ideas, but I am slowly becoming more willing to try new things which has changed my art abundantly. I am hoping that in the future I will be able to use some of these techniques I learn to help with future jobs to possibly become a designer of some sort for a company. I hope that I will be able to apply what I learn in this class to my future pieces and possible work.
