My idea for my zine is titled “Lost and Found”. I want to start the zine off by having a woman who is “lost” and doesn't know who she truly is. For the first couple of pages I am considering having a black and white theme to symbolize the feeling of her being lost. I also want to make scenes where there is no one around and nobody for her to go to. For example, a city where it seems empty with absolutely no people. Towards the middle, I want to introduce a male character who is already full of color and have them touch fingers where some of her color starts to come back. I want the theme of this page to have lots of pink and red shades. I think I want the girl to only have half of her color back at this point so that it can show the progression of her finding herself. Finally, towards the end I want the girl to be fully colored and I want the entire page to be filled with color to show that she has found herself and it will show the change from beginning to end of her having no color to being full of color and happiness. If I feel like I have too few scenes I was thinking of once the girl starts to regain her color, the guy will slowly lose his because I think that will symbolize how relationships can be good and helpful for one person but might damage the other.
